About the Role
The Digital Templator is responsible for creating precise digital templates for granite, quartz, marble, and other solid surface installations using advanced measuring equipment and software. This role ensures accuracy in every project by capturing detailed on-site measurements and communicating directly with clients and the fabrication team. The Digital Templator plays a key role in maintaining quality control, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Perform on-site digital templating for residential and commercial countertop projects using a laser templating system (e.g., LT-2D3D, Prodim, or similar).
Accurately capture and document measurements, edge profiles, cutouts, and other specifications for fabrication.
Review and verify all field measurements and details against project drawings or work orders.
Communicate directly with customers to confirm layout preferences, seam placement, and design details.
Upload and organize template files for production and ensure alignment with fabrication requirements.
Collaborate with fabricators, installers, and project managers to ensure seamless workflow.
Maintain templating equipment, ensuring it remains calibrated and in good working condition.
Adhere to all safety procedures and represent the company professionally at customer sites.
