About the Role
The Lead Granite Installer is responsible for overseeing and executing the precise installation of granite, quartz, marble, and other natural stone surfaces. This role requires hands-on craftsmanship, leadership, and attention to detail to ensure that every project meets company standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Lead Installer will guide installation crews, manage job site workflow, and ensure each installation is completed efficiently and professionally.
Requirements
Lead installation teams in the setup, placement, and finishing of granite and other stone surfaces for residential and commercial projects.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, templates, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
Verify measurements and alignments on-site before and during installation.
Safely handle, transport, and secure heavy stone materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Train, mentor, and oversee installation assistants and apprentices.
Communicate effectively with project managers, fabricators, and clients regarding timelines and site conditions.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
Inspect completed installations for quality assurance, making necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and client expectations.
